Amazing private mini pool experience!
The private heated mini pool was such a chill spot after a long day out. The cozy vibe in the room. One evening, we tried the picnic area and it was perfect for our family time. Just wish there was a bit more seating in the room.

Picturesque place to stay with wonderful and amazing staff members. Marvellous and amazing location with free parking near Iceland, supermarkets and the nearby glacier. Also, to the incredible Gulfoss waterfalls. Fab stay, as always.

We thoroughly enjoyed sleeping 3 nights in this hotel. We had room which had a minibar, satellite television, and central heating and was outstanding. The staff was wonderful and amazing, gave advice about the city. The setting of property was great and amazing, to the nearby glacier.

unique stay in a beautifully designed house
The retreat offers a very unique ambiance. Our luxury quadruple room had a personal hot spring. The restaurant served delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner with friendly staff providing attentive service.
A wardrobe would improve storage options.

Couples looking for a unique experience
This place was, well, lovely. The shared basalt hot tub was a great way to relax under the stars, and the proximity to geothermal spas just added to the magic of our stay.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but that's to be expected for what you get.

The natural ambiance enhanced my experience. The delicious home-made pastries served during breakfast were a good surprise, complementing the really good culinary offerings at dinner. The lack of a wardrobe in the room for storage was a bit inconvenient, and the shared basalt hot tub, while a unique feature, could feel a bit crowded at times. A softer mattress would significantly improve the overall comfort of the stay.

The beds felt as hard as a Wookiee's embrace, lacking any sort of soft topper that could've improved comfort significantly. A wardrobe or closet in the room would have been useful for storing belongings rather than leaving them scattered about. To add a little more frustration, the advertised wake-up service for northern lights was a letdown-hearing others had seen the spectacle while we remained blissfully unaware was disappointing.
